Hands down, the worst incident to hit Pakistan in 2017, the suicide blast at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s shrine that took almost 100 lives and sent 250 people injured, has to be condemned by everyone. It is an incident that has destroyed hundreds of families, along with the culture and heritage of Pakistan.

Indeed, it seems the people of our country have turned a blind eye towards the heinous acts in the name of religion. It is similar to the jingoism that has rallied in our country for decades, where humanity and human lives have become a meager issue, compared to our set beliefs.
