- Official Statement: Sailendra Yadav, general secretary of the Indian blind cricket association, explained that after weeks of waiting, the Ministry of External Affairs verbally informed them that permission would not be granted. He said, “We were told to cancel the trip, although we have yet to receive an official letter of denial.”
