Pakistani Immigration Department Stamped 32nd November as A Date On A Passport

Another day and another moment our Pakistani fellows never fail to make us laugh. If you are having a bad day at work just think about how far you can get messing things up, or what’s the worst that can happen?

We have a dilemma in Pakistan that certain authorities have walked the length of incompetence beyond all limits. Name any Pakistani department whether governmental, free-market or non-profit, you will find working ways that would come to you as a bolt out of the blue.

Think of the time when you last traveled abroad for a long period or you studied abroad. Assuming you were going to a 1st world country or simply a developed country, that absolutely amazed and surprised you. Before leaving, you felt homesick and start missing Pakistan. You begin to revalue the little things that make Pakistan, really Pakistan.

Certain implications and imperfections that bothered you in the past now put a smile on your face. You choose to forgive it all and contemplate a return to your land soon. Not to forget the excitement and happiness overwhelming you about traveling abroad.

You board a plane, bid farewell to your visiting land and get excited about flying. Off you go successfully through the immigration counter and you see something like this:

If you happen to be an aspiring entrepreneur then you would devise ideas about starting a company that manufactures calendars for public departments. Surely, your business will be a thriving one and offer people with precise solutions.

If only someone could tell them the date. In today’s age of smartphones and ultra-modern technology, committing such things is simply a no-brainer and depicts the precise image of how you’re doing your job. We assume that the immigration officer would have realized the blunder and was having a hard time having to settle for it. Imagine the looks travelers would have given him after he stamped 32nd of November on their passports.

Somebody had one job. We should probably not expect our public departments to keep note of that. This is simply one of the most Pakistani things you could ever get familiar about. A thing, in particular, that does not even cease to entertain when you are en route somewhere abroad. The disposition of “Pakistanis” beings “Pakistanis” dance along even in the last moments for the last time probably.

A round of  laughter and at the same time shame and despair would partly have been the memories of this person who was flying to another country.
