The recent ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium ended in disappointment for Pakistan cricket fans after the men in green were unable to handle the Indians.
Sehar Shinwari took to social media platform ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, promising that she would go on a date with a Bengali boy if his team beat India in the upcoming World Cup game.
“InshaAllah, my Bangali Bandu will avenge us in the next match. I will go to Dhaka and have a fish dinner date with a Bengali boy if their team manages to beat India,” Sehar posted on X’.
The hosts India has won all three of their previous games, while Bangladesh has won one of the three. Virat Kohli’s wicket is of great value, says Bangladesh cricketer Shakib-Al-Hasan.
Shakib stated that he has dismissed Kohli five times in international cricket and wishes to do so again ahead of their match against India.
“Kohli is a special batsman, probably the best batsman in the modern era. I think I’m lucky to get him out five times. Of course, it will give me great pleasure taking his wicket“.
As for Pakistan’s on-field assignments, Babar Azam’s team is scheduled to take on Australia, which has only won one game so far. Whereas Pakistan would be eager to return to winning ways, the Aussies would be keen to start an unbeaten run.
