PTA has warned that non-renewal of the Long-Distance International (LDI) license may disrupt cellular and ATM services in Pakistan.
Furthermore, disturbances will cause 50% of mobile traffic and 10% mobile traffic. Additionally, many mobile towers and ATM services will be disturbed. Moreover, global competition may also be affected.
Meanwhile, this disruption has occurred due to miscommunication between telecom companies and IT ministry. Moreover, PTA documents notify of an estimated loss of Rs. 24 billion and Rs. 54 billion, as due charges.

However, Pakistan is already facing a slow internet. The government intends to install a firewall to manage online activity.
