Recently, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan; spoke to the media about the chaotic situation. In her interview, she revealed that the country was leaning towards a complete lockdown.

Moreover, she remarked that it might be the only way to control the pandemic. However, the point of the decision is not to instill terror or panic in the hearts, but only to take precautions.

However, the Aviation and National Security Division will soon announce the ‘overall lockdown’ decision if finalized. Today, the 5th death due to Corona was recorded with the victim tally crosses the count of 500 in Pakistan.
