Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zehra Baloch informed the media on Thursday of the follow-up on SCO meeting of Islamabad. Meanwhile, during a weekly briefing she stated the importance of SCO meeting. Moreover, she confirmed invites sent to different countries, including India.
Furthermore, Mumtaz Zehra confirmed Pakistan has formally invited Narendra Modi, PM of India. Moreover, an official invitation has been sent. Additionally, many countries have confirmed their participation.

Mumtaz Zehra stated,“An invitation has also been sent to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi,”
It is pertinent to note, that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, previously visited India for SCO as foreign Minister, a year back. Additionally, he cited positive feedback in Senate’s sitting.
Meanwhile, recently news came by of Narendra Modi using Pakistani airspace. Moreover, this can be seen as a sign as ease in tension.
