According to the news reports, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) planned to make the decision effective on Friday, post-National Security Council meeting.

The decision highlights that international flights arriving/leaving from Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, Multan, and Faisalabad will observe a complete pause. That enumerates that only airports of Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore will be operating fully. The decision stands firm until and unless the situation settles.

Speaking additionally, the CAA informed all airlines that there will be a reduction in all domestic flights operating, for the time being.

On the Contrary, Dr. Zafar Mirza announces that the National Health Ministry will be seating today for a joint meeting. According to Special Assistant on Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza will be chairing the first National Coordination Committee. The committee will discuss the current situation of the country and how to curb any further outspread of the virus. Representatives of all the four provinces will be joining the meeting. Following, officials of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and representatives of the military will also be present.
