The beauty of Pakistan is very well known for its people but now is recognized globally. As the famous US-based magazine Forbes has named the country in its “10 best under the radar places to visit in 2020”.

Although the biggest news has come in the limelight when the magazine unveils its latest 10 best adventure travel destinations 2020. As reported by a travel company, over the past few years Pakistan has been declared as the next major touring destination. The latest royal visit of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge grabs the attention of tourists around the world to watch out breathtaking valleys of Pakistan.

“Pakistan is perhaps the ultimate adventure travel destination,” says Wild Frontier founder Jonny Bealby. “It offers ancient Indus civilizations stretching back 4,000 years, and exciting cities like Lahore with its forts, mosques, and palaces. But most of all, it offers incredible scenery, particularly in the north where the three greatest mountain ranges collide.”

Furthermore, the award-winning traveling company described Pakistan in beautifully penned words,

“Pakistan is great for trekking, mountain biking, rafting or just cultural tourism. The infrastructure has also improved, with resurfaced roads and new tunnels cutting down travel time, new luxury hotels are opening up in the region.”

Prior to this, last year a US-based travel magazine Conde Nast declared Pakistan as the topmost traveling destination for 2020. The listing follows several positive reviews of the tourist attractions in the country.

Let’s not just stop here, back in 2018 the British Backpacker Society had also placed Pakistan at the top slot of travel destination in the world. The BBS President Samuel Joynson told said in a conversation.

“Pakistan offers much more to travelers and tourists,” he added. “In addition to touring the Karakoram Highway, (the tourists can) visit the bustling markets of Karachi, taste the delectable flavors of Punjab in Lahore and grab tea with some of the friendliest people that you will ever meet on the story-tellers street of Peshawar,”

Others who made it to the list

Along with Pakistan, Forbes list contains many beautiful destinations including Chad, Saudi-Arabia, Armenia, Tunisia, Algeria, and Eritrea. Because of beautiful natural beauty and a safe and secure environment, these countries got the position in the line-up.

That’s not getting wrong to say that the world is now starting to recognize the enormous tourism potential of Pakistan. However, the government is also making efforts to strengthen the travel industry of the country. We should appreciate the government’s actions to promote tourism. Specifically, for hassle-free access of foreign tourists to the country. We hope that these kinds of developments could put Pakistan firmly on the adventure map for travel enthusiasts.
