Eid ul Azha 2023 Moon Sighted:

Eid ul Azha 2023

On June 20 (tomorrow), the first Zil Hajj will be performed, and on June 29 (Thursday), the nation will celebrate Eid ul Adha.

The sighting of the Zil Hajj moon was declared on Monday night by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, the chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee.

The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee met in Karachi at the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s main offices, where the statement was issued following the meeting.

The head of the Ruet-e-Hilal committee reported that reports of moon sightings had come in from a number of places, including Karachi, Lahore, and others.

Participating in the meeting are representatives from the Department of Meteorology, Ministry of Science and Technology, SUPARCO, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and Department of Meteorology.

The Ruet-e-Hilal zonal committee meetings were conducted in each of the local cities.

The first day of the month is being marked in the Kingdom today, June 19, after the Zil Hajj crescent was spotted there a day earlier.

The first day of Eid al Adha will be observed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (June 28), while the day of Hajj or the day of Arafah, which is regarded as the holiest in Islam, will be on Tuesday (June 27).

It is shocking for all the people of Pakistan that the Eid ul azha 2023 moon sighted all of a sudden just like the moon sighted for Ramadan.
