If You Are A 90s Kid, These Are The 8 Problems You Will Definitely Remember!

Growing up as a 90s’ kid means that you got to live in a rapidly changing world. When we, the 90s’ kids were only children, there was no sign of smart mobile phones we have today. All we had were just an old telephone set, and a heavy desktop computer in which Pentium 3 was the hot shot.

Now, all of this has been compacted in a small mobile phone that unlocks by retina or fingerprint scanning. Internet was something that came much later, and it was just a dial-up connection. Meaning, if you pick up your phone, you will lose the 30 kbps connection that you’re getting.

Therefore, 90s’ kids might just be the last generation who can truly understand the pain of going through these problems:

1) 50 Years’ Worth of Waiting Time!

The trouble we had when downloading something off the internet with our dial-up connection. Just a 5 Mb large song could easily take 10-15 mins of our time!

2) Waking Up Early For Favourite Toons!

Nobody ever loves getting up early but, if there are Baby Looney Toons showing on television then exceptions had to be made. Not just them, there were actually some best morning shows that used to make most of us really excited.

3) Limited Storage Spaces In Mobile Phones

That was the time when you had to empty your inbox. It was especially painful when we had to delete one of those love-dovey messages from our *ahem* secret.

4) Finding The Right CD Was A Mess

Sometimes you forgot to label your customized CDs and when you needed the right one, it meant trouble.

5) Rewinding A Cassette tape

It was already impossible to know which song is going to play a cassette tape you just inserted, it’s even more difficult to rewind to that favorite song you heard earlier using a pen.

6) The Trackball Mouse

Laser and wireless mouse were not invented back then and we only relied upon trackball mouse for computers. However, the whole mouse had to be thrown away if we somehow lost the trackball found on the underside of that mouse.

7) Renting CDs from CD Stores

Nowadays, we either watch movies in cinemas or go illegal by downloading them using torrent websites. However, these websites were not available back then. Hence, when cinemas was not an option a movie was needed, we headed towards CD rental stores!

8) Program Stops Responding!

Imagining closing infinite windows just like this. We all went through this!

These were some of the problems we, the 90s’ kids had to go through almost everyday. If you know more of them, do mention!
