It’s been weeks or say months since the trial is going on and bails being rejected by the court. Noor Mukadam’s case has taken so much time in announcing the final verdict despite having full proof evidence. IHC rejects another bail plea for Zahir Jaffer.
Zahir Jaffer’s parents trying to play their role in getting out themselves along with their murderer son at any cost but looks like the court isn’t in a mood to listen to them.
Zahir Jaffer brutally beheaded Noor Mukadam on July 20 at his place in Islamabad’s F-7 area and since then he’s facing the trials with no shame.
As the case time passed on, more accused people found in which Zahir’s parents are also involved in taking care of her body.
Even today, IHC rejects the bail plea of Zahir Jaffer’s parents in the case. The Police have also kept all the goods that came from US Embassy for Zahir Jaffer, who earlier claimed that they don’t have any links with Jaffer.
The case took a new route where law officers got involved and claimed that they have found some major loopholes which shouldn’t have been done before.
Law Officers Of The State Examined Loopholes
Tuesday Law Officers of the state and advocate general held a meeting in which they stated, that they had found some loopholes in the Noor Mukadam case.
As the sources told the well-known newspaper of Pakistan that, “the participants of the meeting deliberated on various options to fix lacunas.”
Further, they added, “the participants of the meeting admitted that the police had committed a mistake at the time of registration of the case as they could have filed it before a special court.
It will be under the “Anti-Rape (Investigation and Trial) Ordinance, 2020” for an expeditious trial, instead of the court of the ADSJ. They were of the view that though the ordinance had lapsed last month, it was effective when the crime was committed on July 20.”
It’s not the first time this issue got some spotlight, earlier during the hearing of post-arrest bail petitions of Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee the same thing was brought up by the state counsel, Zohaib Gondal.
People who are asking about the conclusion of the trial, a senior lawyer, Raja Inam Ameen Minhas has said, “there were some legal precedents where the apex court had allowed conclusion of the trial under the same law in which the accused was charged.”
The suggestion of JIT investigation was suggested by the advocate general, Niazullah Khan Niazi. He said, “he would talk to the IGP to streamline the issues related to the investigation and prosecution.”
“I will suggest to him (IGP) that such heinous crimes must be investigated through the JITs and with the assistance of legal experts,” he added further.
Parent’s Bail Rejected By IHC
Zahir Jaffer’s parents Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee who are also involved in high profile case of Noor Mukadam. They have filed a bail application, which goes rejected by the IHC and they had ordered the lower court to complete the trial of the case within four weeks.
People are praying for justice and protesting against Zahir Jaffer. No doubt, it’s one of the most high-profile cases in Pakistan in which not only Aam Awaam but celebrities were involved to showcase their full support to Noor and her parents.
