Nokia, #RonaldinhoAndFriends had an Event that blew our minds

Ever since we heard about the Leisure Football League, all of us have been very excited. Ronaldinho and other football legends are finally coming to Pakistan. I mean, who wouldn’t be excited about it?

So when I got the chance to attend an official event by Nokia about the League, I was over the moon with joy. I think it’s needless to say that the event was amazing and completely blew my mind.

It started with Ahmed Ali Butt and Dr. Muzna Ibrahim, two of Pakistan’s biggest celebrities coming on stage. They told us details about the event and started off with an amazing announcement. Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is going to be a part of this League as well!

Ahmed Ali Butt then went on to call Giggs on Skype and the audience, including myself, were thrilled that it was actually Giggs on the other side of that call! Giggs talked about football in Pakistan and how excited he was to be part of it. He also said that Nokia’s Leisure League would definitely be a good step in establishing the future of Pakistan in football.

After this was the moment we’d all been waiting for. The official kit reveal. Officials from Nokia came on stage to showcase the gorgeous kit the players would be wearing.

The first kit was colored dark blue and looked fabulous. The second kit was bright green, the colors of Pakistan. The crowd loved both of them, going wild at both reveals.

Then, two of the best pop stars in our music industry came on stage, Ali Azmat and Momina Mustehsan! They played a small teaser of the song that they have collaborated on for the Leisure League and it sounded amazing! The rhythm was catchy and soon the entire crowd was singing along to it.

Then came the moment we’d all been waiting for. The trophy was finally revealed and what a beautiful revelation it was! The trophy looked gorgeous and so shiny that it looked incredible.

The event then came to an end, with Ahmed Ali Butt thanking us guests for joining their show. It was truly a pleasure to see how much Nokia is doing to bring international football to Pakistan. I can’t wait to see what more they have in store for us.
