After the defeat, Eoin Morgan believed his side played well. “We did a lot of things right today and when we have bad days with the bat it can look worse than it is. For us losing like that is better than losing by 10 or 20 runs playing a different way.”

His remarks on the loose seem useless and senseless. His response over the lose against host doesn’t look a captain’s conversation.

On the bright side, Virat Kohli shared his happy thoughts on winning. “This is one of our sweetest victories in the recent past. It is right up there purely because from 135-1 getting nine wickets is simply outstanding. I am a proud man right now.”

Prasidh Krishna helped the Indians to destroy the English batting order and secure a strong win. He said,

“I didn’t start well. They went hard, but we took wickets in a cluster. I want to be called a hit-the-deck bowler, I’m better at it.

He even futher said, ” will work on my strengths and hard to enhance my performance in the upcoming matches.”

Indian Bowling attack and batting order secured a great first ODI win and defeated the World Champions. Morgan couldn’t deliver the skipper’s performance and failed to secure a series.

With such unexpected performance from the skipper, the England board should do something about it before heading towards the T20 World Cup.
