Acclaimed Pakistani actor Nimra Bucha will join Marvel and be starring alongside Iman Vellani in the upcoming Ms. Marvel series. The series has grabbed the attention of the world. But more so of Pakistanis who are eager to see a Muslim and Pakistani superhero on screen.
The Marvel Studios’ original series is taking shape with each passing day. Earlier, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, announced during a Walt Disney Investor Day presentation that Iman Vellani will star as Kamala Khan, alias Ms. Marvel, in the upcoming show.
More so, as per the latest development on the highly-awaited project, the Churails actor Bucha will also be joining the star-packed cast.
Following her success in the ZEE5 web series Churails, it seems as though Bucha has added another feather to her cap. The Mastana Mahi actor, Nimra Bucha is all set to make her way to join the Marvel Universe with Ms. Marvel.
No other details related to Bucha’s role in the series have been disclosed yet. Her role has not been specified and she has made no mention of it on social media either. Moreover, the official website has confirmed her presence.
In addition to this, the Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will be directing the one episode of the series. on the other hand, other episodes are said to be directed by Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, and Meera Menon.

According to the studio, joining the lead star Iman Vellani; who essays the role of Ms. Marvel will be Bucha, along with Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman and Travina Springer.
Ms. Marvel revolves around the story of Kamala Khan, who has shapeshifting abilities. The Marvel Studios original series centers on fan-favorite Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, avid gamer, and voracious fan-fic scribe, Kamala Khan have a special affinity for Super Heroes, particularly Captain Marvel.
Slated to arrive on Disney+ in 2021, the Marvel studios on December 10 added that big names will be featuring in the series alongside the newcomer.
Joining Vellani and Bucha, the series will also feature Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, and Travina Springer.
Nimra Bucha is known for playing powerful roles on screen and has a strong screen presence. As an actress, she is famous for playing the roles of supporting characters in different serials and movies. More so, Bucha’s out of the box performance in the recent web series Churails gained a lot of praise.
