قحط  سا  سماں  ہے

  نا  اُمیـدی  رواں  ہے

حسبِ توفیق خوشی میں

 اُداســـی  بــے  زباں  ہے

  راہِ  گزر  غمگـــین  ہے

  لمحہِ فکــر کارواں  ہے

افسوس کے دبستان میں

 محـــبت  ہی  بیـاں  ہے

عمیـر  رہا  تنہا  وہاں  ہے

اشکوں کا منظر جہاں ہے
