The incident is the first time that Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir has spoken out about the fraud claims made against her by star Aswad Haroon.
Aswad said Nazish stole his money, cars, and expensive gifts, but the actress didn’t say anything because she wanted to take the case to court. She has finally addressed the issue for the first time.
During a recent visit to the show, Nazish discussed the issue. She denied the accusations, saying they were a planned plot to hurt her image and blackmail her.
Speaking on the show, Nazish Jahangir described the situation as a deliberate and well-orchestrated scheme. She said, “Something happened outside of the media—something worse and stranger. It was a failed blackmail attempt, designed to tarnish my reputation. People with no credibility resort to such tactics to extract money from privileged individuals like us.”

She went on to explain that she refrained from responding despite feeling compelled to do so. “I didn’t react because I’m not very active on social media. Even when I miss my mother, I don’t post about it. I knew that responding would only prolong the issue,” she said.
Nazish disclosed that her father counseled her to maintain silence and allow the legal proceedings to unfold. “My father told me not to speak on the matter since we were already handling it legally,” she shared.

People were guessing why she had been quiet the whole time until she said what she did. The actor clarified it that she thinks the whole thing is an attempt to blackmail her that didn’t work, and she would rather not be involved in any more public drama.
However, Nazish’s statement finally gives her side of the story and sheds light on what she says was a deliberate attempt to smear her.
