Nadia Afgan is a talented and well-known Pakistani actress. She became famous for her sitcom Shashlik and worked in many popular PTV dramas. Some of her famous projects include Afsar Bekar E Khaas, Radd, Suno Chanda, Kabli Pulao, and Kala Doriya. Right now, fans are loving her performances in the dramas Jafaa and Tan Man Neel o Neel, where she plays Sehat Khan’s mother.
Recently, Nadia Afgan appeared on the YouTube show Haute Talk, hosted by Amna Haider Isani. During the interview, she spoke about how young actresses in the industry face exploitation and how some of them suddenly improve their financial status in unusual ways.

Nadia shared a story from her past. She said, “I was working in a drama in Lahore, and a young actress was playing my daughter-in-law. She was a simple, beautiful girl with long hair, wearing regular clothes, and had no fancy lifestyle. After a break of three months, when we met again, her life had completely changed. She had a car I couldn’t afford, wore designer clothes, diamond rings, and even had maids and an assistant. She told me she had been doing modeling, but it was clear that such quick wealth couldn’t come from that alone.”
She also commented on how some actors spend too much money to keep up with competition. Nadia said, “These days, actors live in expensive apartments like those in Emaar, even though their earnings don’t match the cost. They spend all their money on rent or buying property just to compete with others. I tell them they should live with their parents instead of wasting money this way.”
