Reham Khan, the ex-wife of ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan and journalist, has yet again taken a swipe at celebrities who have come out in support of the former premier. However, actor Muneeb Butt once again responds in a befitting manner.

In the wake of the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan earlier, celebrities who came out in support of him received ridiculing comments from Reham.

Taking to Twitter, Reham had shared, “All these actors giving endorsements to the Kupitaan had better [gotten] heavy investments for their film projects!”

Having none of it, actor Muneeb Butt hit back at Reham. “The way you got “heavy investments” for Janaan!” he wrote. “Apney set ka furniture tak apney IK ka name use karkey logun se free me liya tha [You received your furniture set free of cost after using Imran Khan’s name]so don’t school us and stop being a graceless ex!”

Muneeb once again slammed the journalist on Twitter amidst her recent controversy with actor Mishi Khan, who recently called out Reham for her statements against showbiz celebs extending support to the former Prime Minister. Dubbing Reham as ‘speedy Gonzalves’, Mishi took a jibe at her.

Her message was followed by Reham’s reply who snubbed Mishi by asking netizens if she is the same friend of Imran Khan whom she had cast in Janaan in the role of Hania Aamir’s phupo (paternal aunt)?

Muneeb was quick to hit back at Reham by saying that when she produced the Hania Aamir starrer Janaan, she took advantage of being Imran’s wife. “I am planning to produce a serial [and] want to cast you as a lead working title ‘Naagin’,” he wrote.

Take a look at it:

The opposition legislators had earlier launched a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan in parliament, hoping to remove his government amid accusations he has mismanaged the nation’s economy. Subsequently, Saba Qamar, Humayun Saeed, Rohail Hyatt, Shaan Shahid, and Samina Peerzada, among many, joined the rest of Twitter to back the skipper.

Several celebrities also joined massive crowds at PTI massive jalsa in Lahore, where former PM Imran Khan demanded immediate elections in the country. The event took place at the historic location of Minar-e-Pakistan.

While addressing a mammoth public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan, Khan underlined that the PTI was a democratic party and it strongly believed in democracy and added that it would never accept any “imported rule” in the country.

Many celebs also took to the streets in support of the ousted former PM at the PTI jalsa in Karachi on Saturday.
