Mohsin Abbas Haider got fired from a popular TV show!
Among the created hype, recently another news came in regarding the husband-wife brawl. As its nothing new to see Mohsin Abbas Haider on Dunya News popular show “Mazaaq Raat” with which he has been affiliated from quite a long time now. After a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged in the police station by his wife on account of physically attacking her, the show management fired Mohsin Abbas Haider from the show until the final decision comes out in his favor under lawful terms.

According to the management, the firing of Mohsin Abbas Haider from Mazaaq Raat is to show consideration to the victims of physical abuse and appraise the sentiments of the general public. The decision is a good representation of standing against the negative elements our society holds within but no one counters it.
From where it all started!
Earlier this month Mohsin Abbas Haider’s wife Fatema Sohail put a status on her Facebook accusing Haider of laying hands on her. Bruised pictures were also attached to the post and it went viral overnight. Pakistanis were quick to label Haider guilty. As the issue gripped hype among the masses, the “Na Maloom Afraad” actor called on a presser in Lahore Press Club where he kept his hand on the Holy Quran and denied all allegations. Haider accused her wife of lying and asked her to stop using the ‘woman card’.

The next day, Mohsin Abbas Haider’s wife Fatema Sohail also arranged a press conference trying to prove herself true. She also held the Holy Quran in her hand while making statements in front of the media. As both husband and wife were using the Holy Book to prove the other wrong, several news publishing sites decided to boycott giving further coverage to this matter. This decision was widely praised by the audience.
There’s still no proper judgment in the case and nobody knows who is the victim and who is the culprit.
