Just like last year, Pakistani wicket-keeper and batsman Mohammad Rizwan kept his consistency in style this year as well.
Mohammad Rizwan in the T20 format crosses all the limits to be the world’s No.1 batsman, and surely he’s achieving everything.
As ICC revealed batsman of the month players in which Mohammad Rizwan was included and he has been crowned as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for September 2022 after his iconic performances in the past T20 matches.
Rizwan had beaten ace Indian spinner Axar Patel and emerging Australian all-rounder Cameron Green, both of them had a great month as well.

Mohammad Rizwan was criticized for his performances back in 2019 and 2020 post-Covid-19. But ever since he got his form and shut everyone’s mouth with performances no one managed to stop him from scoring runs.
Among all of Rizwan’s performances, his brilliant partnership performance with his skipper helped the Pakistan team to beat India in last year’s T20 World Cup.
On winning the award, winning the award, an elated Rizwan said: “I would like to thank Almighty Allah and express my heartfelt delight to all that enabled me to achieve this award.
“I want to give my high appreciation to all my teammates as they made things easy for me. These achievements boost your confidence. I am happy with my performance and I would like to take this momentum forward in Australia.
Last year, Mohammad Rizwan also won ICC T20 player of the year along with his skipper who won ICC player of the year award as well.
He Dedicated His Award To Flood Victims
Further, Rizwan shared his great gratitude by dedicating his award to the flood victims. “I would like to dedicate this award to the people in Pakistan who are affected by the floods and climate change. Hopefully, this will bring smiles to their faces.”
Looking at his T20 stats for this year, Rizwan scored seven fifties in the 10 games that he played last month.
Although he played one less game, he still finished the series as the highest run-getter with 316 runs at an average of 63.20 while going at 138.60.
