The robbers broke into the senior cricketer’s residence in the middle of the night between Sunday and Monday, according to police.

Hafeez and his family have been left disturbed and terrified by the incident. It’s a sad reminder of how defenseless even the most powerful figures are in the face of illegal behaviour.

After he discovered the robbery, Hafeez filed a report with the Defense A Police Station, appealing with the authorities to act quickly to catch the culprits and recover the stolen currency and products.

According to a first information report (FIR), the thieves seized $20,000, £4,000, €3,000, and AED5,000.
