Modi Offers To ‘Video Conference’ Over COVID-19, Pakistan To Take Part!

Drastically taking over the world, the novel Coronavirus has been declared ‘pandemic’ by the World Health Organization (WHO), recently. Along with other countries, Pakistan is also making efforts in preventing the fatal disease from spreading any further. Following the same stance, recently, Pakistan responded positively to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s offer to video conference.

Among other victims, the Chinese Coronavirus has also targeted several world celebrities who are now isolation to recover. Similarly, earlier, Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for Coronavirus while in Australia. Well, on Friday, Indian PM Narendra Modi offered the SAARC nations to take part in a video conference and discuss prevention measures for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In spite of the ongoing barbarism against the Muslim minorities in India, PM Modi sure took an important step in initiating the call. As per the Indian Premier’s tweet, the escalating Coronavirus needs to be barricaded from spreading further. Calling out the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) nations, PM Narendra Modi shared the idea of video conferencing.

”We can set an example to the world, and contribute to a healthier planet!”

Directing his proposal towards the leadership of SAARC, PM Modi expressed his wish for a healthier planet, ironic. Taking to his official Twitter, he wrote, ”I would like to propose that the leadership of SAARC nations chalk out a strong strategy to fight Coronavirus. We could discuss, via video conferencing, ways to keep our citizens healthy. Together, we can set an example to the world, and contribute to a healthier planet”.

However, analyzing the chaotic situation, world countries should work towards the eradication of COVID-19. Well, in response to PM Narendra Modi’s proposal, Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui assured him to take part.

On her official Twitter, the FO Spokesperson shared that the department has called on Special Aide to Prime Minister (SAPM) on health. Assuring of communicating with Dr. Zafar Mirza, she tweeted, The threat of [COVID-19] requires coordinated efforts at a global and regional level. We have communicated that SAPM on Health will be available to participate in the video conference of [SAARC] member countries on the issue”.

In this time of severe turmoil, it is amusing to see world leaders coming on one platform for the protection of this planet. However, the Coronavirus is predicted to cause economic mayhem more than it will take human lives which seems to be true. Well, in order to prevent the fatal disease from causing harm, follow the advised precautions and don’t neglect the symptoms.
