This is what Misbah-ul-Haq had to say…

“I’m announcing my retirement from International cricket. The series against West Indies is going to be my final, but I will still continue to play domestic cricket. I will decide later when I have to leave the domestic level. I have faced many ups and downs throughout my career, and I know I was dropped for poor performances at times. But then, there were moments when we become the number 1 Test cricket team in the whole world. I’m overall satisfied with my performance in the game. I indeed had some unfinished business, but that’s how life is like. My dream was to win the World Cup for Pakistan, but my dream was also to Captain the Pakistani team. That is how life is like; you do not get everything you aspire for.”
