How sad. Mir Javed Rehman passed away. Very soft spoken and nice man. Had known him and his family all my life. Talked to family yesterday to find out about his health. May Allah give them the strength to bear this loss.

Very tragic indeed. The iconic family of Mir Khalil ur Rahman lost another stalwart: Mir Javed-ur-Rahman, publisher Jang Group, associated with media and journalism was a role model for many decades for budding journalists. Sad Mir Shakil ur Rahman was not allowed to see him.
