Ever since the new budget came out in June, nothing in Pakistan seems to be going right and it looks like everyone is slowly and gradually losing faith in the Naya Pakistan that was promised. In this topsy-turvy situation, right when we thought all Pakistanis would be gearing up to leave the country for good, we were ecstatic to find out that a Mexican couple was spotted strolling at Sea View Karachi, enjoying themselves.
The couple is visiting Pakistan for a close friend’s wedding and is later scheduled to travel up north in order to further explore the beauty of our country. With the recent advent of Youtubers globally, many vloggers have previously visited but we don’t think we’ve had anyone from Mexico. So it’s pretty cool having them, isn’t it?
After the recent news about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visiting Pakistan in autumn, this one came as a pleasant surprise as this could help put across a positive image of the country on the global front. It could be the opening of new possible horizons for the country, maybe a Naya Pakistan after all?
However, we really think the duo should try out our desi cuisines full of mirch masala and chatpata chatkhara in order to make the most of their trip. We wish them well and hope their trip is adventurous enough to bring them back over and over again.
