Merub Ali confirms her age that she’s not 27 years old as per the internet or say Google. Merub Ali is a rising actress in the Pakistani drama industry and the beloved fiancé of Asim Azhar.
During her recent interview with the local channel, where she pointed out several such as her age confirmation, engagement destiny, etc.
The ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’ actor clarified that she is 21 and made her screen debut in 2018 with Sajjad Ali’s music video ‘Lagaya Dil’ when she was 16.
Merub Ali Confirms Her Age – Google Mentioned Wrong Age
“I’m often told that ‘Oh you don’t look like 21’, and ‘You hide your age’, because, for some reason, Google has mentioned my age as 27,” she said in the interview.
Ali further added, “On the other hand, if someone posts a picture with me, they go like ‘She is so young’. Please decide for once and all, whether I’m young or old than 21.”
“How does it matter anyway [what is my age], I am 57,” she joked.
The interviewer further asked her about her law education alongside acting. Merub expressed her deep love for the subject. “I’m actually interested in studying,” said the star when asked about choosing to pursue law whilst modeling, acting, and creating content. “I had to take a gap year in the middle – I had to come to Karachi, which is why I had one year left. But this was always the plan.”
When asked why she chose law, she replied, “I love law. When I was younger, I was interested in criminal law. I used to watch documentaries. I knew all the serial killers’ names. I knew what they’d done. I was very interested in getting into their heads to understand why they do what they do.” At this point, the host questioned why she didn’t choose psychiatry to which she jokingly responded, “I have so many issues of my own, how will I solve others’ issues?”
Engagement With Asim Written In My Destiny
We all know, Asim Azhar’s engagement news broke the internet and shocked his fans. Before their engagement there were rumors that they are cousins, Merub cleared the air and stated that we are not siblings.
On her engagement, she said, “Our parents said that this was a good thing to do. They decided for us, and we agreed. Everyone agreed. It was very easy…It was written, and it happened.” When asked if it was their choice to be partners, Merub coyly said, “Yes.”
Upon being asked about her marriage plans, she said, “I don’t plan for my future, ever. Whenever you plan and things don’t work out, you are saddened. Whenever it is written, it will happen.”
