Meet Pakistan’s First Plug-in Hybrid SUV: The Haval H6 PHEV

Hybrid SUV

It is official. The Haval H6 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) has arrived in Pakistan. And with it, SAZGAR and GWM have pulled off something big, the country’s first locally assembled plug-in hybrid SUV. Ever since 2021, when SAZGAR and GWM initiated their collaboration, the two giants have made sure to provide the latest and greatest automobiles to the Pakistani market.

The launch at Lahore’s Expo Centre on August 16th felt less like a product launch and more like a gala night. Red carpet vibes, futuristic staging, and a reveal sequence that looked straight out of a movie. But the real story wasn’t just the spectacle.
It was a statement: Pakistan’s Auto Industry is stepping into the future of green mobility.

SAZGAR’s Promise: More Than Just Cars

Over the years, SAZGAR has proven that it puts people first. From stepping in with customer relief after the Islamabad hailstorm to taking the hit from new NEV levies, the company has built trust by standing with its buyers. At the launch, SAZGAR’s leadership spoke about that same philosophy, combining customer care with big strides in sustainability.

Then came the big reveal of the SUV itself. The H6 PHEV is no ordinary ride. With its Hi-4 all-wheel drive system, app integration, and a whopping 360 horsepower engine delivering 760Nm torque, it rockets from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds!

SAZGAR’s Promise: More Than Just Cars

Mr. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, was the chief guest at the event. He praised SAZGAR’s efforts, pointing out how crucial such initiatives are while Pakistan grapples with climate change and flooding. He also shared that the superior after-sales services at GWM and SAZGAR are as vital as the products themselves.
