Karachi has submerged in rainwater again as showers in the city began in the early hours of the day. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in Karachi today. The current spell of rain will continue till tomorrow (Thursday) as per the Met office. Everyone is enjoying it in their own way. A man who jumps into the rainwater on the street from a building was recorded on camera and people are amazed.
The rain started at around 4am in several areas of Karachi today and it continues to disrupt life in the city.
Meanwhile, the PMD has also issued urban flooding warning and as per the images and videos on social media, it is already happening in the city.
Heavy rain in Karachi
Almost the entire city witnessed heavy rainfall with scattered periods of light to moderate showers.
Main and adjoining roads in areas of Malir, Airport, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar Shah Faisal Colony, Federal B Area, Mehmoodabad, Akhtar Colony, DHA, Clifton, and others are full of rainwater.
Normal life has come to a standstill in Karachi. Many people are stuck on the roads and are now trying to head back to their homes as soon as possible.

K-Electric has also urged citizens to adopt precautionary measures and to keep a safe distance from broken wires, electric poles, and pole-mounted transformers (PMT).
Crazy man jumps from 4th floor of a building in rainwater
It seems like even if the sky falls on the heads of the people on Karachi, they will be never be bothered. Either they just don’t care or they are convinced that the Sindh government is useless. We agree with them on the latter. However, still, there are many people who are enjoying the weather as the current rain spell in Karachi could possibly be the last for this year.
Amid all the chaos after rain in Karachi, a video is going viral on the internet where a daring rather irresponsible man can be seen jumping from the fourth floor of building into the rainwater.
The attempt is a next-level stupidity as the man just jumped off the building without any safety gear, just for the sake of enjoying the weather. We can never approve of it. DO NOT TRY THIS EVER!
This is next level bhae!!!!! Dive from 4 floors above #KarachiRain pic.twitter.com/PLhLdnj57c
