Man Fakes Kidnapping and Murder to Escape Debt, Caught Alive from Pindi

Ghulam Rasool, a 24-year-old from Nawabshah, faked his kidnapping and murder to dodge an Rs8.5 million debt. He posted fake images of his torture and death on social media, tricking his family and friends. However, police tracked him down using his digital footprint and found him alive in Rawalpindi.

Ghulam Rasool, son of a court official, staged his disappearance by traveling from Nawabshah to Karachi. He then used Facebook Messenger to send messages, pretending to be his kidnapper, and posted images of himself appearing tortured and dead. His desperate family even protested for his safe return.

Police traced the IP address of the posts and discovered the truth. Ghulam Rasool was found alive in Rawalpindi, exposing his elaborate hoax.
