Layer Bakery Threatens

One of the popular bakeries in Punjab Layers Bakeshop has come up with the threat to take legal action against the person who tried to demolish their reputation in the bakery industry.

A viral image of a lizard covered in chocolate cake circulated all over the internet a few days ago. The victim claimed that he found this lizard inside the cake and he tarnished the bakery’s reputation.

Soon the image became a big topic of the day, another user came with the same incident and accused the bakery.

He even tagged the Islamabad police and DC Islamabad. The latter then took notice of the incident. But things backfired on the victim, his allegation made Layers Bakeshop furious and they decided to take legal action.

The bakery shop denied all the allegations, they termed it a “factory adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness.” In an Instagram post, the brand shared, “Dear Valued Customers, we wanted to personally reach out to address recent false allegations circulating about Layers.

We find ourselves in an unfortunate situation where our brand, Layers, has been subject to baseless allegations that aim to tarnish our hard-earned reputation.”

The statement went on to read, “We take immense pride in the quality and hygiene of our products. Our factory adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness. It is technically impossible for foreign objects, such as the alleged lizard, to be found in our baked goods.”

Bakery controversies in Pakistan have become very common, back in 2021 one of the Karachi bakeries come under fire when their staff member refused to write Merry Christmas.

To clear the picture for everyone, internet sensation Kendoll posted a video sharing his point that hits the bullseye.
