Four Patients Lost Their Lives As Lawyers Attack PIC In Lahore!

Social media has become a double-edged sword; Where it helps promote goodness around the world, it has also started wars and massive hate-campaigns. Adding to the negative factor of micro-blogging sites is this latest protest held by the Lawyers in Lahore.

They attacked the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) over a video that includes a doctor mocking the lawyers in front of a small group. The said video went viral and triggered the lawyers, who approached the inspector general to take legal action against two doctors. However, their demand was turned down, which led to a violent protest at hand.

Here’s the video that caused all this ruckus.

Moreover, the lawyers not only staged the protest but also caused damages to the emergency ward and vehicles parked nearby.

Four patients have lost their lives as a result of this protest; Verified by Dr. Salman Haseeb, Grand Health Alliance Chairman.

PM Imran Khan and CM Punjab Usman Buzdar took notice of this violence instigated by the lawyers. PM said that the attack on hospital is unacceptable as it is a matter of public safety and security. In addition, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan was also present at the scene. However, he was treated very poorly and was almost kidnapped. His videos of being manhandled are circulating around the web and it is clear that the lawyers are not happy with his arrival.

There have been so many videos that are constantly coming forward from the place of incident and sadly, they show the utter barbarity of the ‘learned lawyers’.

It is saddening to see that the lawyers can go to such extreme levels of attacking a hospital. They are the same men people reach out to for justice. Where is the flaw? The education, upbringing or mental-stability of most of the lawyers of Pakistan?

The video below shows the amount of violence these lawyers are capable of creating. They couldn’t be controlled by the police or any other concerned authorities.

No one was spared, according to the reports. Media personnel were also not spared and were attacked. In addition, a female reporter by the name Kinza Malik was severely injured and her phone was snatched. Clearly, the lawyers didn’t leave any stone unturned in becoming thugs of all kinds; even killers.

It is imperative that Imran Khan takes strict action and make sure there are serious consequences to the Lawyer fraternity. Moreover, this isn’t the first time they are displaying such low levels of humanity. Recently, a group of lawyers humiliated a poor woman, physically abusing her. The police department was announced to receive a reform, now it is the time to re-structure this department.
