Everyone in the world, however rich or poor, desires to be loved and cared for unconditionally. Everyone needs acceptance in society. They want to be treated in the best possible way. But the point is, are they treating others in the same way they themselves want to be treated? Are they caring enough for others? Is there love and support unconditional? The answer is NO.

We’re living in a society of mean and selfish people. Everyone wants others to act and behave as per their wishes. They want to control others’ lives but are not willing to change themselves whatsoever. People nowadays love to take others for granted. Emotional intelligence is mostly considered as a managerial trait, according to which managers and team leaders must be able to feel and understand the emotions of the other person and treat him accordingly. But, I believe that emotional intelligence should be a trait every individual of the society should have.

Everyone should be known that their behavior and attitude can make or break someone’s day. REALIZATION is the key. Only if we realize what our actions and words can do to someone, we would be thinking a thousand times before doing or saying anything. Little deeds of kindness can make a great impact on anyone’s life. We come across so many people in a day. Have we ever thought that a simple word of kindness from our side can make someone’s day?

We all complain about the rude and arrogant behavior of traffic police officers who are on their assigned roads for their duties. Only if for once, we put ourselves in their shoes, we would realize that they are doing one hell of a job. To stand under the direct sunlight for whole day and then bearing the traffic noise throughout is not something easy. Moreover, they also have to tolerate rude responses from people around. We don’t even realize that a single greeting can make their whole day better.

All we have to do is being kind to them. Is that something very demanding or hard to do? Not hard but it’s rare for sure. We all praise the moral values followed by the modern developed countries. But none of us follows the same values and customs when we’re here.  All of us are sitting here and waiting for a miracle which will bring TABDEELI (change) in our country. None of us is ready to accept that anyone who can bring any so called change in the society is WE. They say a long journey starts with the first step, but I believe taking that first step is the most challenging part of that journey.

It’s easy to claim but far difficult to actually implement something. Start giving respect to others, not because of their status or wealth, but because they deserve to be respected as humans. When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace. A small act of kindness will not cost you much, but can make a BIG difference. Kill them with kindness whenever possible. It is always possible.
