At least 18 passengers were killed and numerous more were injured when a passenger bus caught fire on the M9 near Nooriabad Town in Jamshoro.
According to the authorities, the ill-fated bus carrying flood victims was travelling from Karachi to Khairpur Nathan Shah.

As a result, 18 individuals were burned to death and several more were injured.
Wajid Thaheem, Deputy Superintendent (DSP) of Nooriabad, reported that eighteen dead, including eight children, were recovered from the carriage.
Murad Ali Shah, chief minister of Sindh, took note of the tragedy and ordered the deputy commissioner and superintendent of police of Jamshoro to rush to the scene with ambulances and rescue the victims.
“The injured should be transported quickly to the hospital, and the administration should provide all types of assistance to the victims’ families,” he said, expressing sorrow for the loss of life.
CM Murad has also requested an incident report.
