Karachi Stadium Enclosures Named to Honor Cricket Legends

Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena is undergoing exciting changes! The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that enclosures at the stadium will now bear the names of famous cricket stars Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan.

This decision is part of the preparations for the Champions Trophy 2025, as Pakistan gets ready to host the big event. Along with this, the brand-new Patron’s Enclosure will be named after two more cricket legends – Zaheer Abbas and Majid Khan.

Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule

The ICC Champions Trophy is set to run from February 19 to March 9, 2025, featuring the top eight ODI teams split into two groups.

February 19: Pakistan vs. New Zealand in Karachi

The semi-finals will be played on March 4 and 5, and the grand final is set for March 9.

Interestingly, due to ongoing political tensions, all matches involving India, including potential semi-finals and the final, will take place in Dubai.
