With the global outbreak of coronavirus, the government of Pakistan has been untiringly busy providing comfort to the citizens. From initiating ration distribution programs to providing relief to the business community, the authorities are doing it all.
Analyzing the efforts of the government during this pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) has also praised Pakistan. Speaking of the exceptional work being done, recently, the Sindh police have launched the mobile mechanic workshop for the citizens. Particularly called the ‘mobile workshop service’, the initiative is currently available in Karachi, only.

The launched service is specifically for all those Karachiites who lave their homes because of any emergency or other unfortunate reasons. For instance, you are out for some urgent work and your car breaks down, what will you do in such a situation? Not to worry, just give a ring to the local police helpline (15) and they will be at your service with a professional handyman.

The Karachi police have gathered a dedicated technical staff for the purpose who are experienced in their respective field. Undoubtedly, in such desperate times, law enforcement agencies are doing a commendable job.
Medical service launched by the Karachi police
Not only this, as per the latest reports, the Karachi police have also launched a medical service, recently. According to the revealed details, the police will now be ensuring that citizens incurring medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest or any other disease, be shifted to hospital as soon as possible. To get the assistance, citizens can call onto the same helpline (15) and the police will be at your doorstep.

The medical service has been announced by the Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Karachi, Ghulam Nabi Memon. Till now, more than 7,000 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Pakistan and the numbers just keep on increasing. However, the strategic implementations and immediate assistance have made recovery possible for about 1,600 patients.
Previously, on Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s orders world’s largest coronavirus care and cure emergency center was established in Sukkur. The facility has isolation wards with a capacity of approximately 2,000 beds and a professional team of health officials. Particularly, the Labour flats in Sukkur were converted into the coronavirus facility to treat the affected patients.
