Javed Miandad
Mohammad Javed Miandad was born on 12 June 1957, is a Pakistani cricket trainer, critic and retired cricketer remembered for his unique way of captaincy and batting.
ESPNcricinfo called him “the greatest batsman Pakistan has ever produced.” Miandad played in Tests and One-Day Internationals between the period of 1975 and 1996.
Furthermore, regarded for his unusual way and remarkable control Javed has acquired applause from cricket recorders as well as his peers. ESPN placed Miandad at 44th number among the best cricketers of all time.
Besides, the legendary cricketer has served as captain of the Pakistan team. In 1986, Sharjah, Miandad hit a big six on the last ball against India, when 4 runs were needed to win. For this Javed is popularly known. Javed’s six is one of the glorious moments of Pakistani cricket.
After his active career as a player, Javed has remained the trainer of the Pakistan cricket team on multiple times. Moreover, he secured important positions in the Pakistan Cricket Board.
