‘I Have Never Been In Favor Of Hijab Or Burqa’ – Javed Akhtar Shares His Stance On Karnataka Incident

India has become a terror country where minorities especially Muslims aren’t safe at all. They have been terrorizing Muslims and don’t care whether it’s a woman or man. Since the BJP party take over India, Indian terrorism over Muslims reached the next level. Along with other celebrities Javed Akhtar gave hi stance on the Karnataka incident.

Many of the literate Indians and celebrities are also even against it. But still, no one can help it. With the recent activities that took place a few days back, it was expected because those mobs were ready to petrify them.

It was shameful when Muskan Khan arrived at her college and was pursued by an Indian mob shouting out of their lungs “Jai Shri Ram” (Hail Lord Ram) but Muskan responded brilliantly by saying “Allahu Akbar”.

The video went viral, it received a massive response from all over the place and people took a stand for Muskan. Several Bollywood celebrities have come forward and shared their views on it. Such as Pooja Bhatt, Kamal Hassan, etc.

On the other hand, some still kept their mouth shut as usual and didn’t take any stance on the matter.

Meanwhile, Indian scriptwriter, lyricist Javed Akhtar couldn’t hold it back and took the matter to his Twitter account where he expressed his feelings regarding the incident.

Soon the video went viral, Javed Akhtar also jumped into Banda-wagon to share his stance on the Karnataka incident. He wrote, “I have never been in favor of Hijab or Burqa.

I still stand by that but at the same time, I have nothing but deep contempt for these mobs of hooligans who are trying to intimidate a small group of girls, and that too unsuccessfully. Is this their idea of ‘manliness’. What a pity.”

Javed Akhtar also landed into the controversy when he commented Azaan should be ended on loudspeakers, as it discomforts him.

Meanwhile, some heated arguments take place between Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhat’s wife Shabana Azmi. Kangana tweeted, “If you want to show courage, show it by not wearing burqua in Afghanistan… Learn to break free, not cage yourself.”

In response, Shabana Azmi wrote, “Correct me if I’m wrong but Afghanistan is a theocratic state, and when I last checked India was a secular democratic republic?”

Earlier when the Hijab Muslim girl incident went viral, actors like Kamal Hassan tweeted, “What is happening in Karnataka is provoking unrest.

Following him, Bollywood’s fearless Richa Chadha has never hesitated in taking the right stand for justice. She wrote, “Raise your sons better! A bunch of ugly, cowards attacking a lone woman in a pack and feeling proud of it? What losers! Shameful.

They’ll be jobless, more frustrated, and penniless in a few years. What a poor upbringing! No sympathy, no redemption for them.”
