In a statement to the National Assembly of Pakistan the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication stated that Elon Musk owned Starlink has yet to comply with the regulatory and technical frame work. Moreover, this has resulted in their lateness in entering Pakistani market.
Though, Pakistan currently faces a internet slowdown but its service sector has a lot of potential. Meanwhile, Starlink made headlines in 2022 as they applied for LDI license for operations in Pakistan.
