On Kashmir Siege Day, which will fall on August 5, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a tribute anthem for the brave people of Kashmir.
The beautiful valley of Kashmir is going through the worst crisis in over 4 decades. With the Indian government repealing Article 370 of the constitution, taking away Kashmir’s special status, the valley has remained in lockdown.
Constant military pressure, censorship, and paid media campaigns have nulled the Kashmiri spirits. However, Pakistan continues to show support for Indian Occupied Kashmiri, challenging the status quo at every turn.
Now, the ISPR has released another beautiful track to show support for Kashmir and Kashmiris. The track titled: “Chor Day Meri Waadi” is more than just an anthem. It is a plead from the people of Kashmir, asking the Indians to leave their homeland.
The lyrics of the track speak of how in the last 72 years, Kashmiris have been tormented by the Indian army with harsh brutalities being conducted. It talks about how the international world has remained averse to Kashmir’s plea.
A tribute to the brave people of Kashmir and their relentless struggle for Freedom.

The tyrannical Indian force, through the anthem, is being asked to leave Kashmir. “Jaa chor day meri waadi, hum jeetenge, azaadi”. For 72 years, Kashmir has remained a bone of contention between Pakistan and India. However, after the removal of Article 370, Kashmir seems a lost cause.
Pakistanis on the internet are being vocal in their support for Kashmir, sharing the new track which has been sung by the legendary Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan. “Apni taaqat mein jhool gaya, yeh baat to zaalim bhool gaya” – these lyrics speak volumes about the how the resilient people of Kashmir are ready to counter the forceful Indian agenda at every step.
Even though Pakistan has hundreds of internal problems, Kashmir remains a top priority for the country. From regional to the international stage, the country has spoken about the plight of Kashmiris and their rights.
