This Islamic Preacher Believes Allah Will Ignore Rape and Murder As Long As You Offer Namaz!

People are often seen going to the lengths of justifying the crimes they commit. Sure, Allah is the supreme, He is the forgiver and He loves His people more than 70 mothers combined. However, there are certain acts in Islam that hold no forgiveness in the eyes of Allah.

The holy Quran has repeatedly reminded the Ummah, especially the men to treat their women with fairness and kindness. In the light of Islamic law, rape is forbidden and is a crime that needs to be addressed as to the punishable by death. Additionally, capital punishment under the Islamic law is reserved for severe cases and this is essentially why the brutality is addressed by publicly executing in different Muslim countries.

In short, rape holds no forgiveness in Islam.

Murder, on the other hand, is considered as one of the biggest sins as per the teachings of Islam.

“And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is Hell; he shall abide in it, and Allah will send His wrath on him and curse him and prepare for him a painful chastisement.” (Surah an-Nisā’ 4:93)

And There’s More

“Whoever slays a soul, unless it be for a manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men.” (Surah al-Mā’ida 5:32)

Both crimes, in the light of Quran and its teachings, hold no forgiveness and the committers should be punished for what they do.

This Islamic Preacher, However, Thinks Otherwise

According to the preacher who is addressing a crowd in a private setting, he claims, “in the eyes of Allah, missing a prayer is worse than rape, murder or drinking alcohol.”

He further says, “The one person who commits all of the sins – adultery, rape of a child, selling drugs, murdering someone, he commits all of these sins on the daily basis, but he prays is better than the person who does not commit any of these sins and doesn’t pray, in the eyes of Allah.”

He gets aggressive and continues saying how if one misses a prayer is worse than a man who commits Zinnah, rape or murder.

The people listening to this man continue listening to him while he speaks without references from the Quran or Sunnah.

Definitely, growing a beard and following prayers, 5 times a day holds a lot of importance in Quran, but how can one justify heinous crimes such as rape and murder by equating them to Sallah?
