However, on Friday, President Donald Trump ordered to launch a strike at Baghdad airport in which Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated.

Apparently, the feud between the US and Iran escalated last year in December after the death news of an American contractor broke out. Well, the already heated relation turned into vengeance and America’s counterattack resulted in the recent Iranian demise. According to international media reports, American officials have confirmed the news of Qasem Soleimani’s killing.

Further, the officials stated, ”Iran’s top security and intelligence commander was killed early Friday in a drone strike at Baghdad International Airport that was authorized by President Trump”. Apparently, the most powerful man in Iran, Major General Qasem Soleimani was part of several important operations for Iran and even lead the Quds Force.

Particularly, the strong Quds Force belongs to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. As per the official reports, Qasem Soleimani along with several other Iraqi Militias officials of Tehran was at Baghdad International Airport. While leaving with the convoy, an American MQ-9 Reaper drone missile hit the airport resulting in the immediate death of the whole convoy.

Reportedly, Major General Qasem Soleimani was the mind behind many operations, leading them to the front. The agonizing news was conveyed to the Supreme Leader of Iran Al Khamenei by the country’s leadership. Hearing the news Al Khamenei declared countrywide mourning for three days on the death of Qasem Soleimani. Further, he stated, ”His departure to God does not end his path or his mission. But forceful revenge awaits the criminals who have his blood. And the blood of the other martyrs last night on their hands”.
Reportedly, after the mourning period ends, the Supreme Leader has ordered to retaliate against every attack. Well, the US-Iran conflict dates back to the historic period related to both countries, respectively. However, soon after today’s attack at Qasem Soleimani, President Trump posted America’s flag on his official Twitter, to show victory.
