From time to time, we come across heroes that deserve our undue love and recognition. Iqrar-ul-Hassan, Pakistan’s #1 sting operation journalist, is all that and more whose life now seems to be in danger. Over the course of years, his show ‘Sar-e-Aam’ has gained great traction, and helped save hundreds of lives in different ways.
From exposing quacks to sting raids on hospitals, from shutting down brothels to saving girls being sold – he has exposed and walked through every vice of the country. All the love and fame that came along, were the prayers being sent from the people he had helped over working with Sar-e-Aam.
Now, Iqrar-ul-Hassan finally needs our help. After hundreds of episodes of Sar-e-Aam, it seems like the show has returned to bite him. Iqrar-ul-Hassan now openly claims that his life is in danger and there is a person who wants to kill him.

Three years ago, Iqrar and Sar-e-Aam did a sting operation show exposing a ‘fake police gang’ in Karachi. Iqrar-ul_Hassan, in the episode, laid a raid against the fake police gang, which comprised of the main culprit and his fellow cronies.
The fake DSP had been kidnapping people, especially women, wronging them and also taking ransom money. Once the complaint against him was out, Iqrar-ul-Hassan, along with his team and Rangers, raided the safehouse. The fake DSP and his gang were arrested and two girls were freed from the spot and now it seems like Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s life is in danger because of it.

میری اور ٹیم سرِعام کی جان خطرے میں ہے اور ہمیں آپ کی مدد کی ضرورت ہے۔ ہمارے ایک کارکن کو تشدد کر کے قتل کرے کی نیت سےاغواء کرنے کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج بھی اس ویڈیو میں موجود ہے۔ قصہ یہ ہے کہ تین سال پہلے ہم نے رینجرز کے ساتھ کارروائی کر کے ایک جعلی ڈی ایس پی اور اس کے گینگ کے اغواء برائے تاوان کے اڈے سے ہاتھ پیر بندھی لڑکیوں کو بازیاب کروایا تھا۔ بعدازاں معلوم ہو کہ یہ جعلی ڈی ایس پی قتل کے تین مقدمات میں مطلوب ہے، پولیس نے ان مقدمات میں بھی اس کی گرفتاری ڈال کر عدالت میں پیش کیا لیکن اس ملک کے نظام انصاف کو سلام کہ تین سال بعد یہ رہا ہو گیا۔۔۔ رہا ہوتے ہی اس نے ہمارے اُس کارکن کو اغواء کرنے کی کوشش کی جس نے ہمیں اس قاتل ڈی ایس پی کے بارے میں بتایا تھا اور اب یہ اور اس کا گینگ ہماری جان کے درپے ہے۔ میری زندگی پاکستان کے لئے حاضر ہے لیکن اس پروگرام کی وجہ سے کسی اور کو نقصان پہنچے یہ میرے لئے ناقابلِ قبول ہو گا۔ سو اس شخص کے بارے میں کوئی بھی خبر ہو پلیز رینجرز یا پولیس ہیلپ لائن پر اطلاع دیجئے، اور کچھ نہیں تو اس ویڈیو کو فیس بُک، وٹس ایپ ہر جگہ زیادہ سے زیادہ شئیر کیجئے ہو سکتا ہے یہ کسی ایسے شخص تک پہنچ جائے جو اس قاتل کے بارے میں کچھ جانتا ہو۔

The DSP was even sporting a fake government numbered car. Iqrar’s sting operation included undercover agents who helped catch the DSP. However, three years later, the fake DSP is out. After lower courts did not approve his bail, the Sindh High Court did after 3 years of the DSP being in prison.
As soon as he got out, he traced Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s informer from Sar-e-Aam. After reaching his place, he drugged him and tried to kidnap him just like he did to others years ago. However, luckily, the man escaped the fake DSP.
Now, Iqrar-ul-Hassan is positive that himself and his fellows from the Sar-e-Aam team are under the radar and that their life is in danger. This man has already murdered 3 people. He is equipped and dangerous. This is why Iqrar reached out to social media to let people know if anything happened to him, who would be responsible.

It has now become the due diligence of security agencies and the police to make sure that nobody from team Sar-e-Aam is harmed. The man needs to be arrested soon and made sure that he doesn’t escape the law’s writ this time out. Previously, Iqrar-ul-Hassan was in hot-waters over his second marriage, but his fans and family alike accepted the addition.
