Shoaib Akhtar Tweeted a picture asking the world “Dear world how is the locked-down?- Kashmir”.
Why India Locked-down Kashmir?
India revoked article 370 and 35(a) from her constitution. This made Kashmir an integral part of India. Owing to the fears of protest and to eradicate all those standing for their right, India locked down Kasmir. Since then a curfew is imposed on India, with no media, no internet, no access to fundamental necessities.
Although Prime Minister Imran Khan in UN speech urged the world to ask India to uplift the curfew, the world remained reticent. Moreover, India went against all resolutions of the United Nations and revoked the special status of Kashmir. Reportedly, India is doing genocide in the region to crush all the opposition against her.
Not only this but the rise of Hindutva in India initiated Citizen Amendment Act (CAA), which spurred several protests in the country. Consequently, the Modi government death with them with an iron hand and ruthlessly crushed the protestors.

The tweet of Shoaib Akhtar is a reminder to the world that what Kashmir witnessed now the whole world is witnessing such lockdown. The deadly coronavirus has infected hundreds of thousands of people across the world. The whole of Italy is locked down, Indian is on way to lockdown its country.
Shoaib, in this grave scenario, would have meant to ask the world, you guys ignored Kashmir now you are facing the same situation. Moreover, his tweet may have meant that in this situation we must not let down the cause of Kashmir.
However, after Shoaib’s tweet, many Indians were offended. Sadly, instead of realizing what’s wrong and what’s right they tried to defend their stance on Kashmir.

Just like their predecessors, the current generation of Indians is good in mixing lies with the truth. Everyone knows why they locked Kashmir.
