Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), escaped an attempted assassination last week, and his sons Kasim and Suleiman Isa travelled to Lahore to meet him.
On Twitter, PTI Lahore posted a photo of the two to announce their arrival and to say that province minister Mian Aslam Iqbal met them at the airport.
Children of the former prime minister’s ex-wife Jemima Goldsmith exist. The 1995 wedding took place, and the couple divorced in 2004. Although both sons reside with their mothers in the United Kingdom, they travel to see their father almost annually.
The PTI leader was leading the PTI’s “Haqeeqi Azadi March” at Wazirabad, Punjab, when a shooter opened fire on his container, striking him in the leg. This incident occurred on November 3.
Several members of the PTI chairman’s inner circle, including Senator Faisal Javed, former Sindh governor Imran Ismail, Ahmad Chattha, and Imran Yousaf, were hurt in the incident in addition to the one fatality.
