ICC Championship Trophy Travels To Karachi – Visits A Number Of Places You Will Be Thrilled To See!

Just like every other international cricket event, Pakistanis are all geared to participate in this year’s upcoming ICC Champions Trophy. The past week was the inaugural week of ICC Champions Trophy’s tour. The tour started off in Dubai and today it arrived in Karachi.

The tour in Karachi started with the trophy presented at Edhi Homes in earlier this morning. With Shahid Afridi being the Pakistani ambassador of ICC championship, he was there to rejoice by honoring the services of the late Abdul Sattar Edhi.

The Smile On Their Faces Tells It All

In the presence of Bilquis Edhi and Faisal Edhi, Afridi said, “his [Edhi’s] mission should continue. Edhi Sahab has served humanity, it feels really good to be here”.

After visiting the Edhi Homes, the trophy was then taken to Karachi’s very famous Hawksbay where the former two captains shared the moment. Younis Khan and Shahid Afridi were seen posing with the trophy!

The last stop of the trophy visiting the City of Light in Pakistan will be The Karachi University!

The ICC Championship trophy will be held in England and Wales between the dates 1st of June and 18th of June. Here’s to hoping we will outshine this year, given how there are high chances of having youth prospects in our team.
