Pakistani TV actor Humaira Bano, known for her roles in popular dramas such as Umeed, Meharposh, Mera Rab Waris, and Deewangi, recently criticized senior actor Firdous Jamal for his negative comments about women in showbiz.
Speaking on a podcast by 24 Plus, hosted by Uzma Tahir, Humaira openly expressed her disappointment, saying, “His inappropriate remarks left me hurt and angry. I have worked with him before, but now I wouldn’t want to work with him again. Firdous Sahab, you criticized women in the industry, but you have earned your living from the same industry. Even your sons work here.”

She also highlighted his hypocrisy, stating, “You once claimed you left your house after seeing your daughter-in-law on TV, yet your actions reveal the same low morals you accuse others of. I hope people in the industry help Firdous Jamal understand that his mindset is the real problem.”
