Sunita Marshall and Hassan Ahmed are a beautiful inter-faith couple. They have always been open about raising their children, who have grown up as Muslims, with lessons of tolerance, unity, and respect for all religions.
On Masarrat Misbah’s show, they discussed raising kids in an inter-faith home. Hassan said many people follow a religion because they are born into it without studying it. He believes it’s important to educate oneself before deciding on a faith.

When asked how he would react if his kids wanted to follow Christianity, Hassan said he would talk to them calmly, asking for their reasons and interpretations. He believes in understanding and logical discussions rather than reacting with anger. He added that his daughter is very logical and considers things carefully.
Hassan also shared that he used to be an aggressive Muslim but marrying someone from a different religion helped him become more tolerant. He believes this change was part of Allah’s plan for him.
