These days, one of the most popular things in a house that has kids is Doraemon. And Doraemon, in fact, is a bigger threat to Pakistan than India and Taliban combined. It is because our youth is our biggest asset and if our kids are being ruined by a disease called Doraemon, we are also destroyed.
Doraemon basically revolves around 5 major characters: Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, Soniyo and of course Doraemon itself. 90’s kids would remember watching cartoons on the good old Cartoon Network, at least they made sense. Pokemon and Beyblade were as real as they can get but Doraemon?
Doraemon is the worst thing happened to this generation.

1. IT IS AN ADDICTION

Doraemon is on almost all day on the Indian Disney channel which glues these kids to their TVs all day. Remember how we used to wait for our favorite cartoons at 5-6 pm on Cartoon Network or even before that on PTV or STN? The wait was worth it. Dammit. Bring back Captain Planet.
2. IT JUST MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL

They are senseless. Chaudhary Shujaat makes more sense in his addresses and you can’t even understand what he speaks but he makes more sense than that.
3. DORAEMON TEACHES OUR KIDS NOTHING
Back in the days cartoons were entertaining and had a lesson hidden in every single episode. Let it be Beyblade or Pokemon that taught us hard work. Or Tom and Jerry that taught us to live together happily with someone you don’t really like. But this? This teaches us how to be stupid.

Nobita is always trying to win Shizuka and trying the worst possible things to impress her. Why, why would you show your kids that? WHY?

That fat strong dude named Gian, he is always being a bully. It definitely has a bad effect on our kids who would go on to bully others while singing his theme song.

Nobita is always missing his homework and not doing any work at all. And is helped by Doraemon with his gadgets all the time. He is always depending on Doraemon.

So basically Doraemon is not just a cartoon for these kids. They don’t just watch it. They sniff it, inhale it, worship it and god knows what it. If this is not stopped and parents don’t pay attention, these little souls are going to be ruined in the near future. Because, honestly, our kids deserve better than this.
