Spotify gave another reason to the people to celebrate the ending of 2021 with their new “2021 Wrapped” campaign that’s been appreciated by everyone even in Pakistan as well. Since they launched their Wrapped campaign in Pakistan, people are indulging in it and followed the trend.
Meanwhile, they also revealed the top artists, songs, and playlists from the creators that helped soundtrack the year for more than 381 million users worldwide.
Spotify’s Top Artist List in Pakistan
In Pakistan, Arijit Singh reached the top spot as the most-streamed artist by Pakistani users. Pakistani audiences have some special bond with the neighboring country’s industry and that’s the reason Arijit stays at the top.
No doubt, in Pakistan Atif Aslam has taken the heart of everyone for many years.
A few days back, Arijit Singh in a live concert took a stand for Pakistani artists and appreciated their work.
Both of these singers have created a special place in everyone’s heart and their songs bring back old memories. There’s no shame in admitting that, both of their songs have an emotional bond.
Atif Aslam’s latest songs popular on Spotify were Kadi Te Has Bol, Rafta Rafta, Tu Jaane Na, and Dil Diyan Gallan.
Rise of new talent in Pakistan
This year was great for the Pakistani industry because the young new talent emerged and rose. Artists like Hasan Raheem, Young Stunners, and Asim Azhar made their way towards the top 20 list of the most-streamed tracks in Pakistan.
Asim Azhar’s Ghalat Fehmi became the first most streamed track in Pakistan and then Young Stunners’ Gunnah secured the second spot.
Because of the new entries of young talent, the Pakistani audience didn’t forget the legends. Songs from previous decades such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Kali Kali Zulfon Ke Phande Na Dalo, Aitebaar by Vital Signs topped the chart of most listened songs.
